Commitment to Privacy Protection

At Recovery Database Network, Inc. (“RDN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), privacy is one of our most important values. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains our practices for collecting and handling your (and any company you are a part of or represent, “you” or “your”) information that you may provide via www.recoverydatabase.net (or any successor) or through other features, applications, emails, content, downloads, devices, products or services (collectively, the “Site”) that we operate. We are committed to providing you with a positive experience with the Site while respecting and striving to protect your privacy.

By using the Site or by otherwise providing any information to us, you are consenting to the collection, use, disclosure, processing, transferring and storage of your information, which may include personally identifiable information, as set forth in this Policy. If you do not consent to this Policy regarding your information, do not use the Site and do not provide any information to us.

This Policy explains what information we may collect, how we may collect it, why we need that information, how we will protect it and choices you have about the use of that information.

Any information collected through this Site may be transferred to countries that might not provide an equivalent level of protection as the data protection laws in your home country. Your use of this Site or submission of any information will therefore constitute your express consent to the collection, use, disclosure, processing, transferring and storage of your information outside of your home country.

The Site is intended for use by an adult general audience. The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that anyone under the age of 13 has provided any personal information through the Site, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to promptly delete it.

Please be sure to read this entire Policy before using or submitting any information to the Site. We may update this Policy from time to time. We will also revise the “last updated” date at the top of this Policy. We encourage you to periodically review the Policy for updates. Use of special features of the Site may require you to expressly consent to special terms, for example, by affirmatively checking a box or clicking on a button marked, “I agree.” Those terms will supplement or amend this Policy, but only with respect to the matters governed by such terms.

This Policy does not apply to other companies' web sites or services or links that you may access via the Site.

Information we may Collect

We may collect information from you directly or indirectly through your use of the Site, including personally identifiable information or PII, which is information about an identified or identifiable individual. The information we collect may include, for example, but is not limited to, an individual’s name, address, e-mail address and/or phone number, country, user name and password, and information relating to a user’s device including usage, condition and/or location. We may collect individual user information to verify compliance with the Site’s terms of use terms and other user agreements. We may also collect statistical information that helps us understand how people are using the Site by reviewing server logs, using analytics programs or related aggregate study, but this information collected is not associated with any specific individual.

Collection of Information

We use the information we collect to provide you with products and services that are helpful and relevant to your business and communicate with you about your account. To assist us in achieving this goal, we may collect information from or about you through our Web server logs, with cookies and directly from you. RDN websites use "cookies" (i.e. small files stored on your computer by our servers) to collect information and to track user patterns on our websites. The use of cookies is an industry standard and many browsers are initially set up to accept them. You can reset your browser to either refuse to accept all cookies or to notify you when you have received a cookie. However, if you refuse to accept cookies, you may not be able to use some of the features available on our Site. We do not currently collect, and it is not our policy to permit third parties to collect “targeted” cookies (persistent identifiers tracking users across different sites and services) for purposes of advertising. In addition, we do not currently respond to “Do Not Track (DNT)” browser signals.

Use, Disclosure and Retention

We use information that is collected for the following general purposes: to provide and improve products and services, billing, identification and authentication, contact, and research. From time to time, we may supplement the information you give us with information from other sources, including any information from any of our affiliated companies. Information is not shared with or sold to others for commercial purposes, except to provide the products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

We maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technological measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and security of information you submit on or through this Site. RDN has safeguards in place to control access to your information and to appropriately protect your information.

We retain information collected under this Policy for as long as there is a business need for it in accordance with applicable record retention policies and contractual, legal and regulatory requirements.

The Site and related content and materials are the property of RDN or its licensors, and are protected under applicable intellectual property and other laws, including under the appropriate jurisdictions' copyright and trademark laws, and international conventions. Except as explicitly provided by RDN, you may not transmit, display, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit the Site. Automated means, such as but not limited to scrapers or spiders, may not be used to collect and/or index any information contained on our sites. You may not (a) reproduce, (b) store a significant portion, (c) distribute copies of, (d) frame content of, or (e) incorporate into another website, materials or intellectual property from our sites or services without the prior written consent of RDN.
